This website is provided through ChatGPT Sites. When you visit it, information such as your IP address, date and time of the request, requested address, referrer information, browser and operating-system details, HTTP status and error data may be processed. This processing is technically necessary to deliver content, prevent attacks and misuse, and ensure stable operation.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and user-friendly provision of this website. Log data is processed only for as long as required for these purposes and to comply with legal obligations.

OpenAI processes end-user and technical operational data on our behalf insofar as this is required to operate ChatGPT Sites. OpenAI may use subprocessors for web hosting, infrastructure, security, moderation and support, including hosting and content-delivery providers.

ChatGPT Sites does not currently support fixed data residency. Processing may therefore take place outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Any transfer safeguards are governed by the agreement and data-processing terms applicable to our OpenAI account; no particular hosting country is promised on this website. OpenAI's current subprocessor list is available at openai.com/policies/sub-processor-list.

Maya Apps does not sell personal data and does not disclose website visitor data to advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, social networks or other third parties for their own marketing, profiling or other independent purposes.

Recipients are limited to OpenAI and the subprocessors required to deliver, secure and support ChatGPT Sites, as described in section 3. They process the technically necessary data for these purposes on behalf of the service operation. Statutory disclosure obligations remain unaffected.

When you use the light/dark appearance control, your browser stores the selected value under maya-theme only on your device. The stored value is either “light” or “dark”. The website does not transmit this preference to Maya Apps. It is saved so that your expressly selected appearance can be restored on later visits. The legal basis for access to your device is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR applies to the associated data processing. You can change the setting with the control or remove it by clearing browser data.

Maya Apps does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not create usage profiles. All fonts, images, icons, style sheets and scripts needed to display this website are delivered from the website itself. No external font service, content-delivery network, tracking pixel, embedded video or social-media plugin is loaded when a page is opened.

The website contains clearly identifiable links to external information, such as the OpenAI subprocessor list and the competent supervisory authority. No connection to those providers is made merely by displaying this page; their own privacy terms apply only if you follow such a link. ChatGPT Sites may use technically necessary security or access information where required to provide, protect or control access to the website.

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, in particular your email address, name, message content and technical message details, to handle your enquiry. Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR is the legal basis for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR applies to other enquiries. Our legitimate interest is the appropriate response to and documentation of enquiries.

We delete the data once the enquiry has been fully handled and there are no legal retention duties or legitimate reasons for continued storage. Business correspondence subject to statutory retention is stored for the applicable legal period.

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21). Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, email hello@mayaapps.de. You also have the right under Art. 77 GDPR to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for our establishment is the Unabhängige Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.

You are not required to provide personal data to us. The website cannot be delivered without technically necessary connection data, and we cannot answer an enquiry without the information contained in your email. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

We update this notice when functions, providers or legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the current version.
